Download the first episode (kind of) of the new series Joey. This is
not exactly the first episode since some of the characters have been
re-cast since this was made and there have been some other minor
changes.

All you need to do is the following:

1) Download and install a Bittorrent client
(http://bitconjurer.org/BitTorrent/download.html)

2) Go to: http://tvt.milfclan.com/ and click Joey 01x00
(DVDSCR-VCD-Cheetah-TV) or go directly to:
http://66.199.180.26/~tvt/torrent.php/Joey.S01E00.DVD.SCREENER.VCD-Cheetah-TV.torrent

3) After you finish downloading, use Windows Media player to play it

Having problems? Feel free to reply to this thread.

Cheers

Thanks for the pointer ;)

I just watched the episode.. could Joey BE any dumber!?

I'm sad to see they're continuing the same writing style that was so
apparent in the last several seasons of Friends. Joey has been dumbed
down to absurdity, and laughs are generated by depicting over-the-top
silly situations that are impossible to relate to. Rather disappointing
for me. That, and there's no witty chandleresque character who to me
was the funniest character in early seasons Friends. It *SO* needs a
Chandler!

Seems like they're aiming for a crowd that is content with boobs
flailing all over the screen and over-the-top jokes. It might still have
a big enough audience, but only if there are enough avid Matt fans who
miss Friends too much.

Nobody.

I dunno, it was back and forth between him and his sister, they were
both dumb but also had their shining moments, just like it has always
been on Friends (for Joey anyway)

I agree.
I have to say that I liked this "kind of pilot". Joey was dumb, oh
yeah. That means that on the plane there was no brain surgeon.. :)
He was also Joey, our Joey, the Joey I remember.

I loved Dread de Matteo, who plays Joey's sister, Gina Tribbiani. Love
the boobs storyline, too. Ok, the boobs, too.
And Joey on the cab in Dallas. ^_^
Let's hope the new neighbor will be as hot as the one we saw here,
Ashley Scott. Even hotter. And funny.
Joey's agent! OMG! The "MILF" in American Pie, Stifler's mom. Love
her! She was on Legally Blonde, too.

Thumbs up!

Yeah, you're right! I forgot about that. Amanda Buffamonteezi, that's
how it's spelled according to IMDB. In our transcript we wrote
"Buffo-Martisis" or something like that. :D

More quotes I love:

Hot neighbor: Oh, you're so cute! You think it's a big deal to be an
actor! Here everybody is an actor. ;)

Joey: You defecate on one corpse!

"that's why we had to switch churches!" I love that line. I saw the pilot
the week NBC screened it at their fall-line up unveiling.

Thanks, I was wondering how the show would be and to be honest: I'm a
little disappointed. When I was a kid our dog died. A few years later we
took another dog, but subconsciously I always compared the two.
Something like: The old one never did that! Basically he never got a
chance.

With this it's al little the same. I may have liked it if I saw it for
the first time and didn't know the background of the character, but it
isn't friends and it's got a whole different "air" over it. I can't put
it into words, but it hasn't got a "Friends feeling".

Maybe in time I grow to like it, but I doubt it. In the media it has
been compared to Cheers and it's spin off Frasier and maybe it is.
Cheers I liked, Frasier I didn't.

I just realized that the number of leading characters is half of that of
Friends. Is that going to fill the entire season? Come to think of it:
I never liked series which were build around just one person. All the
sitcom's I liked were featuring a family or group (family ties, married
with children, cheers, growing pains).

I don't think it's fair to say it's built around 1 person - sure joey is the
title, but i can see his nephew and gina playing huge parts as well.

i enjoyed the interation between Joey and Gina, but i cn see the neighbour
as the Rachel charicter (stong, smart and sesitive) and the nephew (forgot
his name) as the Ross of this one (smart, funny and really bambozzles them
sometimes)
overall ienjoyed the show and it really has potental - i give it 4 * out of
5 *

Thinking about what you said I'm trying to remember one scene that
hasn't got Joey in it and I can't think of one!

I agree with you that the show has potential. It cheered me up as well
as does Friends. I also thought that Joey's sister is HOT. A lot cuter
than Mary Angela and others they showed at that party where Chandler
made out with one of them. LOL.

I thought we'd already seen all of Joey's sisters?

In season one we also saw Ross' ex wife, but she changed faces awfully
fast.

Ps where were the children during the meal? Joey always said that a lot
of his sister had children, but at the dinner where Chandler was trying
to find out who he had kissed with were no children present. Coming to
think of it, where were the husbands? That would have made Chandlers job
a lot easier.

Unless Mary Angela was unlike Joey and liked to cheat on her husband...;)

And just for moral support: I think your right. There is nothing wrong with
showing the fans a preview episode and getting their opinion but at least
admit it. This way their bringing it into the illegality just because the
internet has that reputation already. But apparently loosing face is more
important than honesty and saving money. God forbid we would be mistaken as
customers who's instead of fans.
